Windows 10: How can the "Attach Files" and all similar windows be edited to open with "Home" visible...

I was able to set this view in File Explorer, but cannot in other such windows. By default, it opens with Gallery shown, but I want to open it with Home visible without having to scroll up each time.

1. Since when are you facing this issue?
2. Have you made any changes on your computer, prior to this issue?

To fix issues with Word documents opening slowly, I suggest you to attach a different template to the document and check if that helps. Follow the below steps to attach a templates.

Steps:-

1. Open Word application.
2. Click on File and select Options.
3. Select Add-Ins from the list.
4. Under Manage Select Templates and click on
   Go.
5. In the pop up, type Normal in the Document template.
6. Click on Ok.

To fix issues with Adobe files opening slowly follow the below troubleshooting steps and check if that helps.

Steps:-

1. Open Adobe application.
2. Click on Edit.
3. Select Preferences option.
4. Tap on General.
5. Uncheck Enable protected mode at startup.

unable to attach files as they are not visible

Hi,

Newly installed updates could cause changes on the computer, depending on the released update. Other possible reasons can be either file being too large or unsupported file format. For us to assist you with the attaching files concern, we'd like to ask the
following:

• What application are you using to attach files?
• What kind of files were you trying to attach?
• Have you tried attaching files from a different location on your computer or folder?
• Which version or build of Windows device are you using? To know, press
  Windows + R to open the Run window. Type
  winver and press Enter. A new window will open showing the version and build number of your Windows device.
• Can you send a screenshot of how you attach the files? Blur any personal information for your security.

On the other hand, try dragging the file from your desktop to the application you are using as another way to attach files.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
