Windows 10: How can two users play games on a PC running Windows 10 with their indivdual progess?

I'm looking for something very similar to Xbox One's mechanism.


On Xbox One, if you had two separate accounts on the console, both users would have their individual saved games and their progress would load automatically depending upon the currently logged in account.


But on Windows 10, even if I access the same game from two different accounts added to my laptop, the game shows same progress for both the accounts. I'm currently playing Call of Duty World War II and my brother is also playing the same. He finished the first mission this evening and tonight when I'm sitting to play, I realize the first mission has already been completed. Our progress is synced. I want them separate just like on the Xbox One.


What should I do now?

Did you check the game compatibility with Windows 10?

I would suggest you to go through the below steps:

Steps: Try to run the program in compatibility mode:

• 
  Right click on the game icon through which you launch the game.
  
• 
  Click on properties.
  
• 
  Click on compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Check the box, run this program in compatibility mode and select the previous operating system.
  
• 
  Click on apply and then ok.

I suggest you to try installing the game in compatibility mode and check:

Follow these steps to install the game in compatibility mode.

• 
  Download the game from the manufacturer’s website.
  
• 
  Right-click on the game setup file and click on
  ‘properties’.
  
• 
  Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
  ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 10 from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
