Windows 10: How can we fix a Vostro 5581 which recently updated from Win 10 Pro to Win 11 which boots...

I have a user whose computer was recently upgraded to Windows 11 on Nov 3rd we are not sure that's related, but it started not booting up fully today. On boot it gets to a black screen. Here are the solutions we've tried so far: * Startup Repair * System Restore No restore point* Uninstall Quality Updates* Updating All Device Drivers None of these attempts made any changes to the black screen on boot. Additionally, it won't Boot in Safe Modes. Telling it to results in nothing happening. Any other ideas? Thank you for your help.

Win 7 . I'm not being funny either I've actually recently created a dual boot PC . I didn't do it because of gaming , but I'd be a liar if I didn't say it was because of instabilities and device conflicts that only present themselves in the windows 10 environment. Sorry I didn't have a better answer for you

 

Win 10 Pro Anniversary Update = black screen when running games. Is there a fix?

Recently updated to the Anniversary Update for Win 10 Pro. I held out for a while but decided to go ahead and install it. I am now receiving black screens when running games. The only work around is to run them in windowed mode rather than full screen. I can't update my video card drivers as they are the latest. Running a GTX 1070.

Is there any known fix for this?

 

Win 10 boots...

I can't answer to the speed of Win-8 booting. I tried the Win-8 preview and went back to Win-7 after a month. They say that Win-8.1 is a lot better than Win-8 was.
My Win-10 TP is working well ATM.
