Windows 10: How can we prevent library patrons from logging in to our public computers with their...

We have several computers that are used by the public.We have created a secure Admin account, and a guest account for patrons. Those are the only accounts we want to be able to log into these computers.We do not have AD set up, but we need to prohibit library guests from signing into these computers using their own Microsoft accounts.

Patron on public PC can't log out of Outlook

We have a public computer upgraded to Windows 10. A patron logged in to their Hotmail/Outlook account, and now can't close this. Their account automatically opens when they go to the Outlook page, without having the box checked. Have they now registered
as the major computer patron? I have tried some of the other options to close their account with no luck. Any suggestions on how to close their account without deleting it.

 

usb drives and public computers

I work in a public library, and at the public computer stations, patrons often leave their personal usb drives in the computer at log off. Is there a tool for installing an alarm or alert when the patron logs off to remind them to take their usb?

It sounds as if your 'Patron' chose the "Keep me logged in" option when s/he signed in to Outlook.com. Try deleting the Browser History in Edge's settings screen, choosing to delete all options, which sould clear all saved settings, including passwords.
