    Hi, I'm on Windows 10 20H2 with Nvidia GTX 1060 (driver version 452.06). I've seen such a rugged shadow for all windows apps with transparency effect. It also happens on my wife's PC which has a GTX 1080.

    I think it is the same issue in a post with the title "Shadow on Windows desktop not smooth/rough" but I don't see any solution.

    Nope, that wasn't multiple windows stacked.

    Your first suggestion do the trick, but the second isn't. Here's the capture:

    Any idea why this happened? or is there any suggestion to make transparency working as expected?

    x1950xt cf display blocky

    Recently installed the X1950XT CF as a single card (basically a X1950XTX), and noticed the display on my Syncmaster seems to have much less smoothing to the background, even with all the filters turned on or off. My X800GTO seemed to produce a cleaner looking display.*Frown How come the shadows in my windows are blocky instead of being smooth? :(

    The X1950 definitely gives a more realistic nature display (water, grass, trees, etc), however, even the WinXP opening page is blocky (the upper left portion of the window has a white ring that progressively fades to the blue of the rest of the screen, the x1950 shows the rings of varying shades instead of smoothing them). *Wtf :wtf:

    I reinstalled the latest CCC, and ATITool, but no change.

    Can anyone suggest a reason or a fix?
