Windows 10: How Could I Get To Know the Former User's Microsoft Account Password of My Second-hand good...

Hi! my name is Athifah. Im not good at nglish, but i hope you understand. I bought a second-handed device today. It was used by someone unknown. When i was trying to sign my microsoft account in, they ask something like on the picture, im not sure about the answer. so maybe some of you cuold help me? I really apreciate that. Want to DELETE second User Account at login

Hello, I'm using a Windows 10 PC and I am the only user. My administrator username is "John Doe".
Recently when I start the PC, I get 2 options for user login-"John Doe", where I click to enter my password and a second option to use a PIN, both have EXACT name "John Doe". The first option asks for a Password- it does not accept any PW I've associated with the account. When selecting the second option, the PIN box appears. I am then able to get to my desktop screen.

I want to do two things: 1) Delete the account that asks for the PW 2) Automatically login and go to my desktop screen. When I go to Control Panel user settings to delete it, there is only ONE account that shows. I've tried at least 6 solutions suggested, none have worked. Probably need step-by-step instructions. Thanks in advance.

 

Local Account password changed to Online Account Password

Hi,

I suggest you to follow the steps on how to switch from Microsoft account to Local account:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Local account instead.
• Enter your Microsoft account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the Local account and click OK.
• Now, login to Local account.

If you are trying to remove the login password, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press windows key + R to open command prompt, and type "netplwiz"
• Uncheck "user must enter user name and password to use this computer", then click "ok"
• Enter your user name and password, then click "ok"
• Restart your computer.

I would like to inform you that it is recommended to activate the password for security reasons.
