Windows 10: How create System Restore point AUTOMATICALLY at daily startup?

I know how to create a System Restore point manually, but I'm looking for step-by-step instructions of how to have Task Scheduler do it automatically at startup every day. Have tried various YouTube presentations of how to, but none of them work; the closest I have come to a solution is the System Properties page of rstrui.exe showing after startup, but it stops there, it doesn’t go to the next or final step of actually creating the restore point. This two step wmic command worked:
wmic.exe
/Namespace:\\root\default Path SystemRestore Call CreateRestorePoint "Startup Restore Point", 100, 7


C:\WINDOWS\system32>wmic.exe
wmic:root\cli>/Namespace:\\root\default Path SystemRestore Call CreateRestorePoint "Startup Restore Point", 100, 7
Execute (SystemRestore)->CreateRestorePoint() (Y/N)?

 

Daily system restore points not being created

I recently had a system crash and tried to use System Restore to get me out of trouble.

When I opened my safety net via the Advanced Startup options, I was told that NO POINTS had been set.

I always understood that SR creates points automatically on a daily basis.

SR was enabled for my C: drive and I had plenty of disk space.

All required services were running properly.

To cover myself for the next time I went into the Group Policy Editor on my Pro machine and enabled the SR.

For people with the Home edition a registry hack is required.

I just don't understand why W10 didn't automatically do this.
