Search is nearly completely FUBAR in Windows 10 build 19045.2728Purgatory Pack - or as some MS refers to it - Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0So after " Automatic Mandatory Updates" [ Feature Removal and replacement Obfuscation ] the Simple file Search is Disabled against anything but "Users" and some other Useless Local vs. formerly have the ability to execute a Simple File name or Extension search from the Search box in File Explorer where you happen to be !!!Who decides these are Changes that should be included in the next Mess you call an Update or Enhancement Release. I

Windows 10 Pro and Ergnomic Break Reminder

Apologies for the late reply.



Do you remember installing any break reminder software?



It looks like it is a pop up from a break reminder software.



I suggest you to look for this in Programs in features and uninstall it if do not use it.



Try the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open Run Command
  
• 
  Type Appwiz.cpl and hit enter
  
• 
  Search for the programs and un-install it.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

If you are not using Windows Defender did you seek advice from your antivirus provider (AVG, Kaspersky, McAfee, Norton, etc)?

Where was the file found? Can you send a copy of the file to VirusTotal for analysis?
