Windows 10: How do edit keys alternate functionality? (Pressing while holding Shift)

Some of the keys on my keyboard aren't working, and I can't fix them right now, so I wondered if there's a way to edit other keys have alternate actions?

Keys do different things when you press them while holding Shift, but how do I edit these alternate functionalities?

For example, the E key is broken, so I want the A key to write an "E" if I press it while holding Shift, rather than it's default alternate function which is to write a capital "A".

Both shift keys

Hello.
I have problem with Lenovo Idea Pad 100 laptop (OS: WIN10). After replacing HDD into SSD I faced a strange problem. Both Shifts of the keyboard doesn‘t work .
I have tried to:

• Check if sticky keys are off. They are off.
• Connect external keyboard via USB port. Shift keys on external keyboard works good.
• Check the keyboard on online tester which indicates pressed buttons. It can‘t indicate press of the shift
• Change several different input languages. The problem is on all of them.
• Reinstall keyboard driver
• Check if connection is OK. It is OK.
• Tried to run computer without screws (I have read in one forum that screws could touch the keyboard from the bottom and it wouldn‘t operate normal)

I believe that keyboard is not damaged because connector damage could cause just exact part of keyboard failure, while it is impossible to do physical damage for both shifts. Any solutions?

 

Number Pad behavior when holding the Shift key.

Currently the behavior of the number pad while Num-Lock is engaged is for Num-Lock to be temporarily disengaged when holding the shift key. For example pressing Shift + Numpad_1 whith Num-Lock on will be recognized as pressing the End key.

How can I stop Shift from temporarily disabling Num-Lock?

I want Shift+Numpad_1 to be recognized as such and not as End etc.

 

I can't move cursor while pressing a key


I recently upgraded Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.0. I have tried reinstalling Synaptics, removing and uninstalling Synaptics, disabling palmcheck, but it wouldn't work. It's annoying when you are playing a game that requires moving while pressing keys on your keyboard. I also have Synaptics 7.5 (19.0.10). The only way I can move my mouse while pressing any key is pressing (any key) + shift. Any ideas or suggestions would be highly appreciated.
