before I update to window 10 (window 8.1) I can open my DVD normally. After I update to window 10 some DVD can open, some DVD cannot open and show massage "The directory name is invalid"

 

DVD drive reports E:/ Directory name is invalid

Just tried something AND IT WORKED!!!!!

go to device manager

disable your dvd drive

re-enable it

click ok

this fixed mine

hope it fixes yours

Well, I was too hopeful....it fixes it only once

I took out the disk and it reverted back to 'the directory name is invalid'

I repeated the steps above and it 'appeared' to fix it but it doesn't once you eject the disk
