Windows 10: How do i access multiplayer?

When i try and access the “multiplayer” and “Minecraft realms” option it says that it is disabled and that i need to check my microsoft account settings. Ive gone and done that, I’ve set my birth year as over 18, I’ve gone to privacy and online safety and selected “everyone” and “allow” for everything, I've gone back to Minecraft java and logged out, restarted my laptop but it still isn’t letting me play multiplayer. I don’t know if i have to wait overnight, but I’ve tried everything and its really annoying cause its still not working.

A final note, PlayStation users have to pay for online play also It is only PlayStation 3 users that don't . But ask yourself this: If Microsoft offer free play for online multiplayer, how would you fund the servers needed for Xbox Live?

• Higher Game Prices?
• Higher rental Prices?
• Less servers and availability?
• Less servers and sustainability?

You may receive a permission to access multiplayer services error if you are using a child account or your online safety settings are set up incorrectly. To properly isolate your concern, please provide us the following information:

• Are you using a child account?
• Aside from the privacy settings, have you tried to change the online safety settings of the account?
• Can you play other multiplayer games using the same account?

If you are using a child account, we would like to let you know that only a parent account can change the online safety settings of your profile. In the meantime, you may follow the steps on this

link to allow your account to play multiplayer games online.

 

How do I enable multiplayer

I would like to know what platform or game you are trying to add multiplayer to.

Below you will find the usual settings for adding multiplayer to XBOX or Minecraft.

To enable multiplayer in an Xbox game, follow these steps:

Make sure you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Most multiplayer games on Xbox require an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play online with others.

Start the game you want to play multiplayer in.

Look for an option in the game's main menu or settings that allows you to select multiplayer mode or join an online game.

If prompted, sign in to your Xbox Live account.

Follow the on-screen instructions to join a multiplayer game or create a party with friends.

Once you are in a multiplayer game, you can invite friends to join you or join a game with random players.

Enjoy playing with others online in multiplayer mode.

To enable multiplayer in Minecraft, follow these steps:

Launch Minecraft on your Xbox console.

Make sure you are signed in to your Xbox Live account.

From the main menu, select "Play" and then choose the world you want to play in.

Once in the world, press the Start button on your controller to open the in-game menu.

Select "Invite to Game" to invite friends to join your world or select "Friends" to see a list of your friends who are currently online and invite them to join.

You can also choose to join a friend's world by selecting "Join Friends" from the main menu.

If you want to join a public multiplayer server, select "Servers" from the main menu and browse the list of available servers to join.

Enjoy playing Minecraft with friends in multiplayer mode!
