Windows 10: How do I access scanned documents?

I am trying to locate my scanned documents.

By default, scans are saved in a Scans folder inside the Pictures. Here are the steps on how to get there:

• Press Windows and type pictures
• Click Pictures and double-click the Scans folder.

Windows Fax & Scan cannot access Documents folder?

Not me. In fact, I NEVER EVER install the software that comes with these devices - except the basic drivers from the webpage.

If the device is already network capable like my HP 7525, you can just use your browser to log directly into the device's internal web server and do just about anything you can do with their bloated, fluffed up software suite that typically foists all sorts of unneeded junk on your system too.

For example, I can enter my HP's IP into my browser, enter the password and check ink status. I can fax documents, scan documents and save them to the computer, check logs, change settings and more.

Since that brother is network ready, if connected via your network, you can print out a network report for the IP, or log into your router's admin menu and check the list of connected devices to get the IP.
