Windows 10: How do I access Windows Settings when it loads and shows on the taskbar but when I click it...

Hi,I am trying to access settings and when I click it everything works like normal until I try to click it. The settings app shows as running and fine and even takes control of the screen when I hover over it on the taskbar and shows a little pop up above the taskbar like normal:The thing is when I do this it doesn't show on my screen at all and I cannot find a way to access it. Even trying other settings from the windows explorer such as mouse settings doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated. This is only for settings other things work like normal.Sam

Taskbar Not Loading and Unable to Access Settings on Windows Laptop Surface Studio

I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my Windows Laptop Surface Studio. Upon starting up my computer, the taskbar does not load, and I'm unable to access various functions, including the settings application.

Here's what I've tried so far:

• Restarting Windows Explorer.
  
• Running the Troubleshooter for Windows Store Apps.
  
• Re-registering the Taskbar using PowerShell.
  
• Creating a new user profile.
  
• Performing a System Restore.
  
• Updating Windows.
  
• Performing a Clean Boot.
  
• Running SFC and DISM.
  
• Resetting my PC.
  
• Unfortunately, none of these solutions have worked, and I've been unable to get a hold of Windows customer support.
  

I would greatly appreciate any assistance or suggestions from the community. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it?

Windows 10 - Notification Settings not showing Apps?

I appreciate the steps that you have done. I suggest you please follow the below steps and check if it helps:

• 
  Type notification on the search bar and click on
  notification & action settings.
  
• 
  And click on select which icons appear on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Turn on show app notification separately for each app.

Recently, Windows Insiders in both the Dev and Beta Channels began reporting that Start and Taskbar were unresponsive and Settings and other areas of the OS wouldn’t load. We quickly discovered an issue with a server-side deployment that went out to Insiders and canceled that deployment. If you were impacted by this issue, you can use the following steps to get back into a working state on your PC.

• Step 1: Use CTRL-ALT-DEL and choose to open Task Manager.
  
• Step 2: Choose “More details” at the bottom of Task Manager to expand Task Manager.
  
• Step 3: Go to “File” and choose “Run new task”.
  
• Step 4: Type “cmd” in the “Open” field.
  
• Step 5: Paste the following (everything in bold):
  reg delete HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\IrisService /f && shutdown -r -t 0
  
• Step 6: Hit enter, and then your PC should reboot. After rebooting, everything should be back to normal.
