Windows 10: How do I adjust contrast - NOT brightness.

Text is too light adjusting brightness causes glare rather than sharpening text. Increasing font doesn't help either.

How do I adjust contrast to darken + sharpen text?

How can I adjust contrast of a photo in the Windows 10 "Photos" app?

Thanks for the detailed instructions. Your explanation threw me for a second because your text says contrast is under:

• Edit&Create ->Edit->Enhance

But the actual option is under (in your screen snapshot):

• Edit&Create ->Edit->Adjust->Light->Click on the word "Light" to show Contrast (not the slider underneath the word Light which is associated with Light in unexpanded mode)

I had found "Light" before, but didn't realize you could expand it by clicking on it since there was a slider control already associated with it in unexpanded mode (very tricky)

I guess I'm not used to this new GUI style. Probably they'll change it again by time I get used to it.

Follow these steps on how to turn high contrast mode on or off in Windows:

• Type "high contrast settings" in the search box, and then select High contrast settings from the list of results.
• Under Choose a theme, select a high contrast theme from the drop-down menu, and then select Apply.
• To turn off high contrast mode, select None from the drop-down menu, and then select Apply.
• To turn high contrast mode on or off from the sign-in screen, select the Ease of Access button in the lower-right corner and choose High Contrast.
• To turn high contrast on or off from the keyboard, press left Alt + left Shift + Print
  Screen.
