How do I assign a program to a file extension?

Greetings,I would like to change the program that opens for the *.webp picture file format. I click Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Choose default apps by file type. This brings up a list of all file extensions. I go down to the .webp extension and click on the program that has been incorrectly assigned to it. A small list of apps is shown, but Photos is not on the list. The last item on the list is "Look for an app in the Microsoft Store". I click this. The Microsoft Store opens, The Photos app is showing in the Library section. How do I select the Photos app in the Microsoft Store?

    :)

    Assigning file extentions

My default program for the .wmv extension is DivXplus Player.

I want to change it to VLC Media Player.

On Windows 8.1 it was real easy to do that.

It gave you a list of extensions and you could assign any executable to it.

On Windows 10 I never could figure out how to do that.
