Windows 10: How do i automaticly login to my desktop instead of pressing sign-in?

I use a local account and just removed the password, because i am the only user, on my other pc it used to login straight to the desktop without going to the lockscreen but with my new pc it doesn't. I tried fixes with regedit and netplwiz but none give me the option to disable, they are not there.

normally there should be a checkbox but there's none for me

I request you to convert the current Microsoft account to a local account and back to a Microsoft account. While converting back to a Microsoft account give your
new Microsoft login credentials.

Follow the steps below to convert Microsoft account to a local account:

Ways to bypass the login theme and signin do not work

Tried setting netplwiz in option 1 step 4 which shows no check in users must enter ..... no bypass of login

Tried step 4 in option 5 below to disable require sign-on on wakeup via policy via registry but still no change on wakeup still getting the screen picture that requires hitting Esc to move to the sign in window which shows a silhouette image, my user name and a sign in button in order to access my desktop screen. Guess I will have to live with the extra steps.

Windows Spotlight- pressed "like" instead of "dont like"

• Do you wants to change the lock screen picture?
• Are you making these changes in the Microsoft account?

I suggest you install any pending Windows updates on the pc to check if that helps. Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

You can turn off the Windows Spotlight feature and then turning it back on and check



Step 1: Right-click on the desktop and then click Personalize to open Personalization category of Settings.



Step 2: Click Lock screen



Step 3: Under Background section, select Picture or slideshow option from the drop-down box.



Step 4: Press windows key + Lock.



Step 5: login back again and follow the same steps from 1 to 3 and change back to Windows spotlight and check if it helps.
