  1. How do I backup everything on my computer to reinstall back on after replacing existing SSD...

I have a new Asus ROG Strix G16 laptop with Windows 11 Pro installed and came with a 1TB SSD storage and I am going to replace it with two 2TB SSD's. I need to know how I make a bootable backup of everything on the computer so I can reinstall it back on after replacing the original single SSD. Checking online I find articles saying I need to make a bootable usb with Windows Media Creation Tool and others say to make a ISO Disk Image on a portable HD. I don't know if I need to do one or the other or both so I need expert advice on what I need to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm so

Motherboard and SSD Replacement: Need Backup Advice

As I understood, a Dell technician will go to your house and replace the MB and the SSD.

You must have to do some homework before he arrives.
    - Make a Disk image of both drives (SSD and HDD) and save it to an external drive.
    - As they will take the old SSD and MB, I suggest you wipe the SSD (it has many user data on it) before he arrive as it can take some hours to clean all clusters.

    To wipe the SSD:
    - Disconnect the HDD from the MB.
    - Boot from a Windows installation media (USB, DVD, etc.) When the Windows setup wizard shows up, simultaneously press the Shift + F10 keys on your keyboard. It will open a CMD window. Type:

    diskpart
list disk (it will list all drives. Identify the SSD drive number)
select disk n (replace n by the SSD drive number obtained with list disk)
    clean all
    exit (to exit diskpart)

  4. How do I backup everything on my computer to reinstall back on after replacing existing SSD...

    Reinstalling windows 10 on SSD

Step 1: Backup your important files:

Step 2: create a new bootable copy of Windows 10. The Windows 10 USB you have is the original version of Windows 10 which quite outdated.

    Step 1: How
to download official Windows 10 ISO files

    Step 2:

Step 3: Shutdown the computer, remove the HDD then install the SSD

Step 4: Perform a clean install.

When you upgraded from a previous version of Windows or receive a new computer preinstalled with Windows 10, what happened is the hardware (your PC) will get a digital entitlement, where a unique signature of the computer will be stored on Microsoft
Activation Servers. The Windows 7 or Windows 8 genuine license you were previously running will be exchanged for a diagnostics key.

Anytime you need to reinstall Windows 10 on that machine, just proceed to reinstall Windows 10. It will automatically reactivate. You will prompted to enter a product key a couple times through the installation, click I don't have
a key and Do this later.

There is no need to know or get a new key, but if you have issues with Digital Licensing or the Activation Troubleshooter, you can utilize an existing Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 product key you already own to
reactivate if necessary. or use the reset function in Windows 10.

Activate Your Windows 10 License via Microsoft Chat Support
