Windows 10: How do I block Mobile updates

    How do I block Mobile updates


    I have a weird thing going on with updates on my Win 10 computer. It claims management in the Mobile Service has settings I'm not allowed to change.

    I'm the only person on this computer. I don't need Mobile anything on this desktop.

    The only thing it will let me do right now, is notify me before it does a restart.

    How do I block Mobile updates ?

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.


    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    SINCE UPDATING MY NOKIA LUMIA 735 TO WINDOWS 10 ANNIVERSERY EDITION I CANNOT ACCESS MY BLOCKED NUMBERS LIST .ALTHOUGH I CAN BRING UP A CALLS HISTORY LIST THERE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE ANY WAY OF ADDING ANY OF THESE NUMBERS TO BLOCKED CALL LIST.( THINK I USED
    TO BE ABLE TO LONG PRESS ON NUMBER AND GIVEN OPTION TO BLOCK IT).IS IT POSSIBLE TO GO BACK TO A PREVIOUS UPDATE?
