Windows 10: How do I break this loop

How do I break this loop I recently upgraded to windows 11 wasn’t really feeling so I tried to down grade to windows 10 and now my pc is stuck in of “restoring your previous version of windows” and then it blue screens any tips

Do you remember installing any break reminder software?



It looks like it is a pop up from a break reminder software.



I suggest you to look for this in Programs in features and uninstall it if do not use it.



Try the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open Run Command
  
• 
  Type Appwiz.cpl and hit enter
  
• 
  Search for the programs and un-install it.

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.


First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".

 

Break auto repair loop with faulty HDD

First of all: my HDD is faulty - it has bad sectors and I know that. All my important data is already backed up and a replacement is ordered, but I need system to boot and perform a simple service that is not HDD-bound right now. Those bad sectors do not multiply and do not affect the files I need to run the service.

Some time ago the system had a dirty shutdown and now endlessly tries to repair the drive in "Automatic Repair" mode. Booting from the installation media, going to command prompt and running chkdsk c: /f manually shows that it completes phase 1 and fails upon trying to perform actual repairs with:

Since chkdsk fails to complete, it just restarts and goes into it again.

What can I do to break this cycle?

1. Message seems to suggest that chkdsk just wants to do some logging and fails. Can I just disable that?
   
2. Can I somehow mark volume clean without actually performing any repairs. I don't care if this causes some backlogged data to be lost - as mentioned above, there's nothing important on this HDD.
   
3. Can I somehow disable automatic repair completely? Boot files should be clean for system just to start up. I've already tried bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No, but it still in the loop.
