    How do i cancel the rollback to a previous version of Windows?


    Hello, i accidentally clicked Go to a previous version of Windows when trying to fix my desktop computer.
    My motherboard is this if you´re wondering: GIGABYTE Z170 Gaming K3.

    Hello Parad0x, and welcome to Ten Forums. *Smile

    If you already did step 9 in the tutorial below to start "Go back to the previous build", then I'm afraid it's too late to stop it.

    When it has finished going back to the previous version, it will depend on what your previous version was.

    If it was just an older build of Windows 10, then you could just update to the latest build again via Windows Update.

    If it was say Windows 7 or Windows 8, then you'll need to upgrade to Windows 10 again.

    Ok..... This is sad, because this was not what i was trying to do. I was getting BAD_POOL_CALLER BSOD and i thought that this button went to a previous build of Windows 10.....

    It will go back to whatever your last version of Windows was.

    This could be an older build of Windows 10 or previous Windows 7/8. I hope it was an older build of Windows 10 to make it easier for you.
