    Epson XP-540 Printer

    I have just fitted a new non-Epson ink cartridge to my XP-540 printer and am getting an error message on the printer display. The message is "INk cartridge not recognised. Please change cartridges."

    The printer will not operate it seems until genuine Epson ink cartridges are fitted. Is there a fix for this?

    My computer is a new (2 months) Lenovo "ideapad" running Windows 10.

    Anyone know how to fix this please?
