Windows 10: How do i change my Admin Account without losing all my personalization or changing to a...

- Change primary account/user sign in without losing any information or switching to or creating a "separate user" on windows.- I just want to change the account to my active one not the one from over a decade ago which I am not even sure how it became the primary admin.

Changing device admin without losing data

I need to change my device admin account from my personal one to my work account. I have both Microsoft accounts added to the same admin profile on the machine but I need to change the primary contact information and account info from one to the other
without losing any of my data . Is this possible?

ah so main admin account is 'wizzle' which is what I am currently on
I make another account called 'wizzle2' (with admin rights)
I sign out of 'wizzle' and sign into 'wizzle2'.
And once signed into 'wizzle2', then I do the command prompt step and find the SID for 'wizzle' that is listed and go from there?

why can't I - as sole user of this PC - have admin rights to my own machine?





the minute I select Administrator the option to change account type is greyed out.

Perhaps you can't in Windows 10. In that case, it is ridiculous
