Windows 10: How do I change my administrative user information tied to my Microsoft account?

Hi. I typically use a Mac, but have a PC for research. When I set up the PC and linked it to my Microsoft account, it was before my divorce. Every time I log in now, I see my old name and the photo I used to set up my computer. My Microsoft account is up to date, but it doesn't seem to synch. And this doesn't seem to be a local account. I cannot figure out how to update it, and I hate seeing my old name every time I use the computer. Please advise. Thanks!KarynPS - I also cannot get rid of the family accounts I set up back when I first got the PC, and I no longer need all of them.

It seems that there are changes made on your administrator account after logging in to the Microsoft Store as one of your children. For us to resolve the issue, we suggest that you switch the administrator account to local account and switch it to your own
Microsoft account. To change account types on your computer, follow these steps:

• In Cortana search, type control panel.
• Choose Control Panel from the list.
• Under User Accounts, click Change account type.
• Select your user account and then click Change the account type.

Undo/Un-sync Administrator Account tied to a Microsoft Account

The account is already an administrators account. The issue is now that where normally you would see the option to change to a local account instead of a MSA is missing. The only option there is now manage
my ms account. The account is set as a local administrator account but somehow it's also tied to my Child's MSA. The login is still using the local account name and password but now when I look at the account it has the MSA email of my child.

I have tried using the built-in admin to fix the issue but can't. I can't delete the account and create a new one because there is way to much information under that profile.

It's quite easy in fact, simply switch the account in question first to a local account, then switch back to a Microsoft account, this time using your wife's MS account credentials.

Notice that before doing this you need to remove the new additional MS account on the PC, the one you created with her credentials. Windows allows only one user account for each email address, if the new account exists you cannot switch the original administrator account to an MS account using the same email address.
