Windows 10: How do I change my boot drive from win 10 to 11?

I recently bought a PC with a hard drive and 2 other drives. These two other drives have different versions of windows on them. When I boot up my PC, it gives me two options, these are to boot in windows 11 or 10. I have been using windows 11 for a while and one day I decided to try the windows 10 boot. I booted it up and everything was new like if I reinstalled windows, but it was a lower version like expected. But when I wanted to switch back to windows 11 where all of my stuff is, it never gave me the option to select which version to boot into. It just loaded windows 10. I looked at the dr

So this is what worked, step by step.

Reboot

Drive is listed as E: in file explorer.

Drive not listed in Disk Management.

Insert DVD, it plays after short pause.

Disk management now shows Audio CD as E:

Right click, change letter to R: (while playing!)

Reboot.

Drive now shows as BD-RE drive as R: in File Explorer.

The bottom line is

- File Explorer does not provide for changing drive letter afics.

- Disk Management seems to need a disk to be in the drive for it to "see" the drive. I can't recall is this is Win 10 behaviour

I don't recall having any difficulty with this in Win 10 (its possible that the Win 10 default drive allocation was "after" my external drives; or I "just changed it").

Win 10 boots...

Interesting that it works on that oldie but goody laptop.

I don't notice any speed lags with Win-10 TP, but I'm using it on an i5-4670K system with an SSD for the boot drive, so it's snappy.

Anyone else notice Win 10 boots much faster into Windows? I mean much, much faster.
I am now getting into Windows almost as fast as my SSD drive on my other machine.
It's crazy fast for me.
