Windows 10: How do I change my desktop screen to the default screen that allowed me to have 6 open...

I have a large monitor so that I can have 6 open programs at once to work with. I went into Personalization and changed my desk top screen to one of the themes. Now when I open a program, i.e. Excel program, it fills the entire screen. When I try to reduce it so that I can open other programs, that program becomes a small rectangle with decrease or close options. How do I get back to the original screen so that I can open and work with six programs at once?

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

 

Poll: Desktop Screen Size

This goes along with my Desktop Screen Res poll. A lot of people have been posting their monitor size in addition to voting in the poll, but I wanted to make an actual poll to put the screen size votes in a more easily readable format.

This is for desktop systems, not laptops. I've tried to include all screen sizes that people are likely to have; if yours is not listed, round up. If you have multiple, different-sized screens, check all that apply. I've also listed projectors as an option.

I didn't list individual sizes over 32" as these are typically not intended as PC monitors; just select "Larger."

 

Opening screen picture

You can customize the settings of the lock screen and desktop screen background picture in the Pesonalization page of Settings. You can also change the profile picture that you're seeing on the log-in screen in the Accounts page of Settings. Just to clarify,
are you referring to the desktop screen, the lock screen, or the profile picture of your user account?

To change the background picture of the lock screen, follow the steps below:

• Click the Windows logo (Start button).
• Click the gear icon (Settings).
• Select Personalization.
• On the left pane, choose Lock screen.
• Under Choose your picture, you can select from the default list of photos or you can click on
  Browse if you want to select the photo that you want.

You can change the background picture of the desktop by following the same steps above but instead of choosing lock screen, select
Background.

You can replace the profile picture of your user account by doing these steps:

• Click the Windows logo (Start button).
• Click the gear icon (Settings).
• Select Accounts.
• On the left pane, choose Your info.
• Under Create your picture, choose Browse for one to see choose the profile photo that you want.
