    Cross-adapter Clone with NVIDIA and Intel

    I have an NVIDIA graphics card on my laptop, in addition to the onboard motherboard graphic card (Intel).

    Months ago, NVIDIA decided that:

    • Clone mode across graphics processors is handled by the Windows 10 OS and not by the NVIDIA driver. Consequently, there are no controls for cross-adapter clone mode in the NVIDIA Control Panel under Windows 10.
    Ever since NVIDIA made that change I haven't been able to clone my laptop screen to an external monitor. It seems NVIDIA pulled support for cross-adapter cloning, because it's supposed to be natively supported in Windows 10, yet I can't find the option to
    do it natively inside Windows 10. I also can't find any forums related to this topic and it seems no one is talking about it. This is a HUGE problem, since I haven't been able to clone to a projector or TV for months now.

    Anyone else know how to fix this?

    I have two display adapters showing...

    Looking at Display Adapters in Device Manager of my Thinkpad 540p laptop I see two display adapters listed, an Intel HD Graphics 4600 and an NVIDIA GeForce GT730M. The reason I was looking was that I am having some issues with some photo display software and it was suggested that hardware GPU acceleration could be the problem and I was checking that the drivers are up to date (they are). My question is: do I need both these adapters to be enabled? Could they be conflicting? I am hesitant to disable anything without asking advice first. Can I disable (say) the Intel adapter without seriously disabling my machine?

    Display adapters - Intel HD graphics driver

    I have deleted and removed the display adapter for a Dell XPS 13 9380 . I have downloaded the Intel HD graphics driver from Dell Website but now i cannot see this in the list on my device manager. i dont know know what to do now.
