Windows 10: How do I change the brightness?

Why is this is damn difficult?

I pull up display settings. No sliders for brightness. Side bar has "have a question? change screen brightness" which brings me to a google help ad. Help ad says just pull up activity center right side of taskbar.

I have no activity center. I have an activated windows 10. I search from activity center and I can change the color of it but cant open it. Searching brightness just brings me to the display settings.

WHAT THE FUCK!?

I know I need glasses but this doesnt explain why the white on some of these internet pages are straight up blinding and then I get glare across my eyes that wont go away.

Someone please help me. How do I dim this shit?!
