Windows 10: How do I change the Microsoft Basic Displays Adapter back to my Graphic Card?

I reinstalled Windows 10 a while ago and now my main computer is using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. My computer has two graphic cards attached to it. The Intel graphics card is for my laptop screen while the NVIDIA Quadro Graphic Card is for my monitor. When I reinstalled Windows 10, my Intel Graphics card disappeared from the task manager and was apparently replaced by the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, so I was wondering how I can remove the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and replace it with my original Intel Graphics card?

the problem is cannot change microsoft basic display adapter, not getting full screen on display, also seeing a yellow arrow on the adapter in device manager, was able to get full screen when using win xp. how do i fix this problem,

Is the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter listed alongside your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti card in the Display Adapters section?

If so, that would mean you also have on-board graphics as well as your Nvidia card and there is no driver loaded for that device

In Device Manager, expand out the Processors section, what is the exact model of Processor listed there?

With regard to your query, your Display Adapter is listed as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter instead of the correct driver name. If you have recently update your display card driver, and this problem comes along, what we can try to do here is to roll the
display adapter's driver back to it's previous version.

Please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter's category, and right-click Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, select
  Properties.
• Under Driver tab, choose Roll Back
  Driver.

If rolling back the driver is unavailable, update the display driver manually.

• In Device Manager, expand Display
  adapter's category and right-click Microsoft Basic
  Display Adapter, and select Properties.
• Under Driver tab, choose Update Driver.
• Select Browser my computer for driver software.
• Click the Browse button, then navigate to the folder where you place the downloaded display card driver setup file.
• Reboot the computer for the changes to take effect.
