Windows 10: how do i change the primary drive C: Disc to another drive?

i have a hp elite x2 laptop and i recently switched this laptop into windows 11 and made a new drive but i accidentally made the primary drive have less space so i'm wondering how i can do it. I would appreciate if anyone would tell because i am new to laptops.

Changing the primary drive from SSD to HDD is possible by changing the path location of each drive. Since all apps are being downloaded on the C drive by default, you need to change the HDD to C drive to have all the apps in the hard drive. These type of
changes need a technician to assist you to avoid risks and conflicts. We suggest contacting your device manufacturer directly for assistance to perform the said changes.

As for the files, after setting your HDD to C drive, you can create a new folder to store all the music you want in it.

No Drive C Disc error reapires at startup

I would suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

• For which drive are you facing this issue?
• Did you make any changes prior to this issue?
• What error are you getting?
• Are you referring to Disc drive or Hard drive?

If it is a Drive partition of the hard drive let's try the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

• Press Start and type This PC.
• On top you can see file ribbon. Select a drive and Click on
  manage.
• Select Optimize. Select the Drive which you want to optimize.
• Click on analyze and click Optimize.
• Restart the PC and check.

Note: This might take a long time to analyze and optimize. So better keep the laptop plugged in to charger. If the laptop shuts down in between the process it may cause issues.

I would suggest you to install the pending updates logging into Microsoft account.

While changing the primary hard drive. Will my data be safe.

My current primary hard drive (hard drive C) has 110GB of storage which is not enough. My second hard drive has more storage. I want to change the primary drive. I know the steps but i do not know if my current data will be safe.
