How do I change the registry to connect to WIFI 6G

Wifi Connection not visible in list of available connections.

Hi,

My Wifi Connection does not appear in the list of available connection.

I have tried to delete the following entry from registry, however i get an error message that this entry is not found: reg delete HKCRCLSID{988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3} /va /f

My laptop is an HP ProBook 4540 with Core i5 Processor and 6G RAM running Windows 10 with all latest updates installed.

My router is an Asus RT-AC51U

Has anyone ever encountered a similar issue? Thanks

OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?
