  2. Windows Store Cache is damaged

    Hi Bill,

    To help you with your concern, we recommend performing Windows Store Reset. Kindly follow the steps below:

    How to Clear Store Cache for Default apps.

    • Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialog.
    • Type WSReset.exe, and click/tap on OK.
    Note: The WSReset tool resets the Windows Store without changing account settings or deleting installed apps.

    • The Store and a command prompt will
      now open without any message. The command prompt will automatically close when the Store cache has been reset.

    After performing the steps above, you may also need to uninstall and reinstall the game.

    Windows Store Broken - Windows Store cache may be damaged

    Hi,

    Since you already run wsreset.exe, We suggest clearing/deleting the local cache by following these steps:

    • Run Command.
    • Click Users.
    • Select the username that you're using to login on the computer.
    • Click AppData.
    • Select Local.
    • Click on Packages.
    • Select on Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe.
    • Click on LocalCache.
    • Delete all files and folders.
    • After you have deleted cache try to open Windows App Store again.
