    How do I change where I edit a PDF?


    There's a file that I want to edit because it's only a template right now it's for something related to D&D I'm working on. I selected Word, but it says I need to verify something for it or use a 30 day trial, which I don't feel like doing at the moment. It's stuck on Word and isn't showing any way to change it to a different program. Is there a way I can change it to something different?

    PDF Editing

    Hi,

    The PDF format is commonly used for saving documents and publications in a standard format that can be viewed on multiple platforms. With Word 2013 and 2016, you can convert a PDF into a Word document that you can edit.

    To convert a PDF into an editable Word document, you open it like you would any other document.

    • Click File, then Open.
    • Choose the location of the PDF and click Browse.
    • Find the PDF and click Open.

    Print to PDF missing in Printer List

    Hi William,

    We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

    • Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
    • Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
    • On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
      OK to save changes.
    • Restart your PC.
    • Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.

    How do I change where I edit a PDF?

    Best free PDF software?

    I use:
    • UnityPDF to merge/split PDFs and to insert/extract pages
    • doPDF to create PDFs from any program that is capable of printing
    • Foxit Reader to view PDFs and to type in them
