Windows 10: How do I COMLETELY remove a user from my Family group?

I added a user account to the Family group. I need to remove it now. I removed it from the Family website page online and it's no longer there. However, it still shows up in the Family group in SETTINGS >> ACCOUNTS >> FAMILY & OTHER USERS. How do I remove it from the local settings page?

Family Organizer Leaving Family Group

• If Mother was the administrator of the Family Group, you can exit the Family Group directly, and Mother will automatically become the Family Group organizer.
  
  If you want to stay in the Family Group, you need to rejoin, either as an administrator or as a regular Family Group member.
  
  Visit Getting started with Microsoft Family Safety for more details.
  

• If Mother was already a member of the Family Group, you need to remove her from the Family Group, then add it again, and need to select "Administrator" when selecting the role.
  

Meanwhile, you can dissolve the Family Group, and then let the new organizer send an invitation to re-establish the Family Group. Visit Leave family group or remove members (microsoft.com) for more details.

Leaving or being removed from a family group will not delete Microsoft accounts. However, family groups without an organizer and at least one other family member will be deleted.

Unable to remove a child from Family Group

I'm Jen, I'm also an Outlook user just like you. I'm not working for Microsoft but I'd be happy to help you figure this out.

I understand you're unable to remove an account from your Microsoft family group. Based on the error you encountered, it looks like the consent to the account was given by a different adult/organizer. To remove the account, you must remove the consent first using the organizer account that granted it. For the steps, I shared the support page below.
