Discus and support How do I Completely and Totally Remove Battery icons, warnings, etc... for a Windows 10... in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; I have searched this several times and have not come up with and complete results.     How do I Completely and Totally Remove Battery icons, warnings, etc... for a Windows 10...


    I have searched this several times and have not come up with and complete results. I have desktops. Only desktops! They all have windows 10 installed. NONE of them have any kind of battery power (well except for the tiny CMOS battery). Any setting or notification or icon showing any information about any kind of BATTERY is completely unnecessary and actually quite irritating. It makes many settings just that little bit more complicated.


    How do I completely remove all battery settings and icons? Remember, this is for DESKTOPS, not laptops, tablets, etc...

    Missing battery icon Windows 10

    Hi,if You Found the Battery icon is Greyed out,then

    Try this Steps...

    • Login to Your PC.

    • Go to run command,type gpedit.msc

    • Under Userconfiguration,navigate to Administrative templates->Start menu and Taskbar.

    • Scroll and Click "remove Battery meter icon"

    • Click on it and Select disabled.

    • Click on Apply,OK to Save Changes.

    Now Again Check it on the Settings,You Will get back battery Meter.

    Remove Linux Desktop Icons

    I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.
