Windows 10: How do I completely isolate de applications from two users on windows 11?

I've been trying to isolate my personal and professional stuff on my windows 11, specially for security and privacy reasons, so i set up two users on my windows, being my personal user the adm and the work user an ordinary/standard user. Nut some applications which has been installed on my personal user also appears on my work user, even though the sessions do are not reproduced from one user to another, I'd like to completely isolate the applications per user. Is it possible in the solution I've been trying? If yes, how? If not, in what way could i achieve the same goal?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Installing Applications to Select User Accounts

I understand that you are trying to avoid the access of all the application in all users. We will help you try resolving this issue.

I suggest you to check while installing any software it gives an option to install on all users or any particular user only.

However this would be application specific to manufacturer.

You can try following the below steps also and check if it helps.

• When you install the software or an application, it makes a shortcut or copy to the public folder where all the users can access the application.
• Open C:\ Drive and select Users.
• Select Public, select the files which you don't want to be used by other users and delete the files or Cut and paste in Admin account folder.

Note: To perform this steps be logged into Admin user.
