Windows 10: How do I completely wipe windows 11 from my SSD

How do I properly uninstall and remove windows 11 from my SSD? I already have a USB stick with Ubuntu Linux installed. I just want to completely wipe this bloatware off my SSD before I install ubuntu to avoid any conflicts or issues!

If I plug the SSD into my new PC, will the 2 versions of Windows 10 on each of them clash and cause an issue?

- Nope.

And once I put the SSD into my new PC, how would I go about completely wiping its contents and Windows 10 off of it?

- Open File Explorer and go to the "This PC" section

- Right-click the drive you want to erase and choose "Format" in the list

- Use the default settings and just click OK to format (erase) the drive

 

Completely wipe an SSD including Windows 10

Hi there,

I am looking to completely wipe an SSD, including the Windows on it, for use in another computer that already has an SSD with Windows 10 installed on it.

The issue I am struggling with is that the SSD is the only drive in the PC and I have no other SSDs or hard drives, so clearing it and the windows on it is posing a challenge.

Can anyone help with this issue?
