Windows 10: How do I control a second extended screen when the primary screen is touch only?

I am wanting to setup a system whereby I have 2 screens with the display extended.


The Primary screen will be close to the user and will be a tablet screen with touch input. Ideally there will be no physical keyboard, trackpad or mouse available.


The secondary extended screen will be out of reach of the user so doesn't matter if its touch enabled or not. Ideally these screens would be connected to each other wirelessly.


Is there any way I can control the applications visible on the second screen from the primary touch screen? ie a remote mouse mode?


To give some more background the idea is for a bike trainer setup, with the tablet located at the front of the bike with the workout software running to control the trainer, showing the workout, power etc. The second screen would be wall mounted and could be showing youtube, videos etc. ideally with no cables running from the tablet other than a power cord. Sound would be via wireless bluetooth headphones, and trainer control via bluetooth.


Can anyone advise if this setup is possible?

Choosing a primary screen or extending to a second screen with windows 10

With the latest Windows 10 update, I can no longer find where to go to extend a second screen or where to choose which screen is primary.

Upon researching, I see that this could be done by altering the primary monitors and configuring the touch setup. I would suggest you to have a look in the Control Panel and see if you find an option.

• Open Control Panel and navigate to
  Display > Resolution.
  
• Set the touch monitor as the primary one and open
  Tablet PC settings.
  
• Choose Setup and configure your pen and touch displays.
  
• Choose Enter to skip touch to indicate which screen is your touch screen.
  
• Open Screen Resolution settings again and change the primary display.

Touch screens

I can do 60 words per minute on my phone, perhaps more now as I've got used to the phone. ( htc desire z, using the stock onscreen keyboard)

Touch screen + predictive text I recon I could equal my keyboard typing speed. Maybe beat it depending on how advance the predictions are.

( hard to use predictive software on traditional keyboards as there is no way to quickly choose the suggested word, where as touch screen keyboards can have the suggested words appear above the function keys)
