    How can I convert a PDF file back into Powerpoint? I have Office365 but I can't afford Adobe Acrobat Pro. I tried opening it in MsWord but it is making a bit of a hash of it (with extra pages etc). Note: I can't use any online utilities because the data is commercially sensitive.

    Any suggestions?

    PowerPoint file crashes PowerPoint upon opening

    since this happens in some of the computers only, suggest that you open the file on working computer and copy everything and paste to a new powerpoint file.

    I just don't get it. Why are all these utilities SO darned expensive? NitroPro wants me to spend £135. I only have the requirement to convert a PDF into a PPT files about twice a year. It would take me 1000 years to get a return on that investment.

    Hopeless. Any other suggestions?

    Btw, I have just been looking at SmallPDF.com. It's seems to work and is very tempting... but what is their business model? Are they spying on us or what?
