    How do I convert voice recordings to text?


    The inbuilt voice recorder of Win 10 records my voice via mic and saves it as an audio file .m4a.
    Is there a free app to convert those voice recordings to text?

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern and will guide you in the right direction.

    There is no such feature in windows to resume a voice recording document at a later date.

    For second issue I suggest you to use speech recognition. Here you can use your voice to dictate text to your computer. For example, you can dictate text to fill out online forms; or you can dictate text to a word-processing program,
    such as WordPad, to type a letter.
