Windows 10: How do I copy a music CD to the hard drive

How do I copy a music cd to the hard drive using Windows Media Player on Windows 10 Media Player version 11.2310.8.0 Rip Settings only allows changing file format and bit rate. There is no menu for Tools etc.

Step 1:

If it is on the CD's, you may have to copy it the computer first and then copy it the Flash Drive. I suggest you to refer the article to know how to copy music from CD's to computer.

Step 2:

After copying the music to the computer, to move it to the Flash Drive Follow these steps.

• Select the required songs and
  right-click on it.
• Select copy.
• Go to the Flash drive and right-click on Free Space.
• Select Paste.

Copy Music From External CD drive onto computer , then onto a flash drive

An alternative way of extracting your music file from a CD is by transferring it manually. Follow these steps to do so:

• Open the content of your CD.
• Select the contents you want to transfer.
• Right-click on the contents and select Copy.
• Open the location you want the files to be saved in (external drive).
• Right-click on the location and select Paste to transfer the copied contents.
