How do I Create a note pad batch file that can open programs to a certain size and then to a certain place on a screen onto one of my 2 monitors displays.

CREATING BATCH FILE.

Sir,

I tried to create a batch file form text document created in note pad using the command xyz.bat but it does not work. Is there any problem with the computer setting ? and if yes how do I change the setting.

Batch Files Knowledge Base

Don't use batch files very much but one I find useful is for creating a list of files in a directory.
Just copy the text below into Notepad and save as Filelist.bat

dir /a /-p /o:gen >filelist.txt

When you run it from a folder it will create a Filelist.txt file,in the same folder, that lists all the files in that folder.Useful when you are too lazy to type all the files out yourself.

i am not so good in creating batch files i need some help in creating one.

in the following path

C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS

there is a .SHD and .SPL file created when prints launched

i need a batch file to open the .SPL in notepad first then on closing the notepad opened, all the files .SHD and .SPL are permanently deleted

any help please

code to open the notepad is as below

start notepad "C:\windows\system32\spool\printers\FP00002.SPL"

the file is opened but there are unwanted characters that appear as well as below
