Windows 10: How do I deactivate Intel Power Throttling?

Yesterday I asked a question about what to do against high temperatures in the notebook then I set the Turbo TDP of my i5-8300H (Windows 10) to 50 watts. Now I have about 70 gard but then I always get this power limit.

I want to disable this but don't know how

Question 1: How to deactivate it

Question 2: Do you think it is a good idea?

Question 3: Does this invalidate the guarantee?

How do I delete a power plan?

Hi Harold,

For step by step instructions on how to delete a power plan, follow these:

• Click Start menu.
• Type Power Options.
• Click Show additional plans.
• Choose an additional plan then click Change plan settings.
• Select Cancel. (Customized power plan will be move to the additional plans.)
• Click Change plan settings beside your customized power plan.
• You will see the option Delete this plan in the Edit Plan Settings.
• Select OK to confirm the deletion.

How do you spot G0 stepping on Intel Processors?

Hi,

I've recently heard about G0 stepping on Intel Processors. I really don't know what they do but I've heard that it's good to have it. How do you spot it as I have a thought buying a Quad Core Q6700 and I wanna check if it has G0 stepping.
