    I'm surprised that nobody in this discussion knows how to defer updates in Windows 10. I recently performed a clean install of Windows 10 in a VM and updated to the Anniversary Update before going back to Insider Preview.

    How do you defer updates/upgrades on the latest stable (not
    insider) version of Windows 10. Please walk me through it step by step.

    Defer upgrades: How do I know which features are deferred

    I understand, there's no choice to include/exclude certain updates, but I can defer the delivery of non-security related updates.

    My question ist, is it planned for the future that I at least get a notification (a list) telling me what upgrades were deferred so far?

    Also, I would put following items on my wishlist:

    1) Show WHICH updates / features are currently deferred (in the case I have opted for DEFER UPGRADES)

    2) Let the user see UNTIL when the items are deferred or make them available immediately if I want to install them

    3) In UPDATE HISTORY: Display a short summary of what the recent updates were about. Like every APP does it when an update comes available: also e.g. if MS Outlook for iPhone etc has an update those developer folks tell you what the update is about. Why
    is not done by Microsoft's WIN OS developers ?

    (I am aware that I can go online and look for details of a specific update but that is cumbersome, so, ... just make it user-friendly...)

    All that stuff can help a user to monitor without effort what has been installed recently and that will help do trouble-shooting if anything works different than the day before.
