    How do I delete a Internet short cut off my desk top


    HelloI recently clicked and dragged a internet bookmark folder to my desktop. Now, I can't get rid of that shortcut off my desktop. I've tried to left click and delete. And I've tried to click and drag to the recycle bin. Nothing works. I get no error messages. can you help me.

    Desktop short cuts not displaying on desk top Windows 10

    I'm not sure what happened but all the items I had on my Desktop are not there any more and some how the start menu is displayed on the left side of monitor. I can't get it off and get my desk top short cuts I had to restore.

    Also the apps search box that was displayed on the task bar is not on there any more, and I did not remove it.. It stopped displaying when the short cuts did off the desk top.

    I tried a system restore to an earlier point but for some reason it tries to restore but restore fails.

    How do I delete a Internet short cut off my desk top

    Dropped short cut

    Once again I find myself looking for a long used short cut. Apparently Windows 10 and Bing do not like Yahoo. I downloaded 10 and was comfortable navigating around. The next day, I logged on and Yahoo was among the missing. Easy to go to Windows Edge
    and then to Yahoo, but the program will not right click to a drop down and choices of creating a short cut on the desk top. I tried Mr. Smithers fix to get Google Earth back, but yahoo is not listed in the "Apps' section. Any suggestions. Thank you in advance.
