    How do I delete a single birthday from the windows 10 calendar?


    Searching threads from the past, I deleted this person from my email contacts, and my phone contacts, yet I still see it in the calendar that you see when you click the time in the bottom right corner of windows 10.There is no delete option, as you can see in the screenshot below.Please don't tell me to reset my account, delete all calendars, or anything else extreme. I just want to delete this ONE BIRTHDAY.Any help would be great.

    Deleting Birthdays in Calendar

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Appreciate your interest in using windows 10.

    To delete any birthday/event in the Calendar App, follow the steps provided below:

    • Open the Calendar App.
    • Click on the Birthday event which is created for the particular day.
    • A dialog box will open.
    • In the top pane, click on Delete.

    This is still an issue. I've freed myself from the woes of Facebook by disabling my account. Unfortunately, the birthday entries are there. Attempting all of the steps within this thread are pointless as:

    • there's no right clicking of the birthday event to delete it
    • editing the series only shows "Save and close" but no delete
    • there are no accounts associated to the calendar app to remove
    • the troubleshooting app believes Windows is perfect and offers no options
    • it's impossible to uninstall Mail and Calendar manually to try again
    Give us some registry keys to delete to fix this.

    It would be nice to use the apps Microsoft presents if they work...
