    How do i delete devices under media devices?


    I exchanged my laptop yesterday and i noticed that there were few devices that were connected under media devices.I don't know whether other people can access my files from that 'thing' or not but it certainly bothers me to have other strange people's name written on my pc.I checked the whole forum and still i couldn't get a solution.I'm starting to hate Windows for not caring about these midget problems?Seriously,is there no solution to remove it?

    Changing device names and deleting devices

    I'm trying to find how to change device names and delete "retired" machines on the WCG "my grid" page. Anyone know?

    You can't delete "retired" machines....there is some kind of "paper" trail they keep and the "old" devices are kept in archive.

    I think???you can change machine names by doing so in windows "computer name" and then it might change[can't remember for sure] if it doesn't do so...detach and do a remove/re install and it should change.

    How do i delete devices under media devices?

    X800 GTO2 = Unknown Device

    I flashed the BIOS on my X800 GTO2 last night and it is listed in the Device Manager as an Unknown Device. Is this normal?
