Windows 10: How do I delete extra empty files from my External Hard Drive when I am 'denied access'?

I wanted to move the location of a game to my external hard drive, however when I went into settings and moved it to said drive, a lot of other folders were created. I decided to move it back because I didn't want the clutter but these folders stayed and will not allow me to delete or move them as I am not granted permissions by TrustedInstaller. Is there any way to circumvent this and delete the folders? They are empty as far as I know except one wont let me open it at all.

External Hard Drive Acess Denied on Windows 10

Method 1:
Check whether the external hard disk is detected in Device Manager, right click on it and click on
Uninstall the drivers. Plug in the external hard drive again so that Windows automatically installs the drivers. Check if the issue persists.
If the issue persists, go to the External hard drive in Windows Explorer, right click on it and select
Properties. Click on the Security tab and then click on
Edit and click on Add and type Everyone
and press enter. Select Everyone from the list and place a check mark in Full control. Press
apply and ok and check if you are able to access the External hard drive.
Method 2:
