Windows 10: How do i delete File that wont show up anywhere in windows and File Explorer

I have an Alienware Aurora R10 with a 500GB SSD and one day I noticed, despite not having much on the drive, it was nearly full with only 13GB left so I went and looked at the system storage to see why, maybe I was downloading more than I thought, and at first that seemed to be the case because under "other" was 277GB of data, so I went into the "other" category and the largest file I saw was my documents file and its only 10GB large, the other files are barely even a GB some not even an MB. screenshot at the bottom personal info blocked out obviously I have a friend who does computers for a

Windows Explorer crashing due to large files

It's an .exe right? Explorer probably read its icon (to a cache) when it was a "small" file and now call the quits when it finds "such a big" file.

If you want to delete it, use the console after killing explorer, you can run the console from TaskManager (Application -> New Task -> cmd). You might want to try copy the file to a different location (copy, not cut) and see if explorer can handle it in the new location before deleting it.

 

Windows Explorer crashing due to large files

So I downloaded project reality a mob for BF2 I used uTorrent to download the file and it check to make sure it wasnt corrupt.

Everytime I try to do anything with the file windows explorer hangs and I have to restart it.

This is the same for the old version of project reality. I cannot delete it.

I have never had this happen.

The files in question are 1.8 GB

 

Cant Delete Files From Desktop

Well, ran into a weird bug with vista, for some reason i cant delete files from desktop, this normaly happens to .exe files, the ONLY fix seems to be to KILL explorer.exe, and delete the file, then restat explorer, anybody got any idea why this happens?
