    How do I delete my onedrive shortcuts from one computer but not another?


    I've had a desktop with windows 10 for a couple years now and I have a lot of files on it saved to my OneDrive rather than my SSD video games, chrome shortcuts, etc.. I just bought a new laptop with windows 11. When setting it up, all of the shortcuts from my desktop appeared on my laptop, except the shortcut icons were all blank white pages or little blue globes, and every time I tried to open one, I get an alert saying "the specified path does not exist." So then I tried moving all these shortcuts to the recycle bin on my laptop, but when I did that, it removed all of them on my desktop as

    Windows 10 - OneDrive

    Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

    If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    Deleted folder shortcut keeps reappearing on desktop

    Hello all.

    I recently deleted several shortcuts from my desktop. Now however, I'm having an odd issue.

    One of the deleted folder shortcuts keeps reappearing. I've deleted it the conventional way and with the "Shift+Delete key" method but to no avail.

    Someone told me it was OneDrive, but although I do have it installed, I've never used it.

    Any suggestions?
