Windows 10: How do I delete stuff from Onedrive without it deleting from my laptop?

I'm having a LOT of trouble with sync/backup because I dont' understand what it's doing, but I had a brilliant idea that if I just deleted everything from Onedrive, it might stop syncing with everything on my laptops. But my question here is, how do I delete things from Onedrive without have them deleted from my laptop? I bet it's not simple.

Explanations for deleted posts?

Like I said, it makes no sense in letting users see deleted posts, even if they are their own. That's why they were deleted in the first place. If they get to see who specifically deleted it, it only serves one purpose. Lets them bitch.

 

Photos deleted from gallery, deleted on Onedrive

It sounds like your photos deleted from gallery have also been deleted on Onedrive.

First I suggest you try to check maybe the Deleted Galary on your phone to see if it's possible to get deleted photos back. Then you may try to visit the OneDrive website to see if the photos you synced are there. If not, you may follow the steps listed on this link | Find lost or missing files in OneDrive (microsoft.com) to see if they could be found back.

our policy is to delete only spam/inappropriate posts.

the only person who can "hard delete" posts on the forums is me .. everybody else can just soft-delete the posts, the original author will see those posts in the threads list with a comment why it was deleted.

to the poster it will look like this, without "manage"
